Nestled in the heart of Nîmes, this park is a haven of peace and greenery. Located between Rue Rouget-de-Lisle and Rue Ménard, the park is easily accessible on foot or by bike, and is within easy reach of the city center.

The park reopened in 2024 after extensive renovation work.

The Parc Meynier de Salinelles is not only a place to stroll and recharge your batteries, but also a cultural space. Visitors can admire open-air exhibitions, such as the one dedicated to the "History of the École normale de jeunes filles and its park", which traces the history of the site through photographs.

When it comes to sports and mobility, there are plenty of inter-generational play areas. The fitness area or "agrès de motricité", with its tree house and trampoline, will delight young and old alike, as will the ping-pong table and boules pitch further up the park.

One of the jewels in the park's crown is the Théâtre de Verdure, with its tiered seating and wooden stage, which can accommodate up to 100 spectators. This open-air theater, nestled in the shade of the trees, is available to local schools, colleges, associations, theaters and companies for performances in a unique, natural setting.
