Hiking trails, heritage buildings, springs...

This former agricultural estate, whose existence has been attested since the 17th century, with its spring (Font l'Abbé), gardens, olive groves and vineyards located in Courbessac, has been owned by the town since 1998. A total of 95 hectares of the estate have been acquired to develop a project based on heritage (notably dry stone), nature (the garrigue), agriculture (experimental olive plots for cultivation, production and conservation) and urbanization with the creation of housing estates. The public can explore some 50 hectares of this protected natural site on signposted paths, discovering a beautiful Mediterranean landscape with olive trees, dry-stone walls, towers, capitelles and remnants of ancient hydraulic structures.

Opposite, closer to the parking lot, is the Font Aubarne area, which also features a fine collection of restored capitelles and dry-stone walls, set in oak undergrowth.

A 5,000-meter-long hiking trail allows you to discover this exceptional built heritage, and picnic tables are available on site.
