The main interest of this listed château lies in its history, which is intertwined with that of the farming estate, and in the quality of its architecture, which dates back to the 12th century.

The oldest part is a large keep, attributed to the Knights Templar, to which a dwelling was added in the 16th century, then a small Directoire château at the end of the 18th century. A century later, the architect Revoil enlarged the château and modified some of the older parts. He also partially altered the layout of the park designed by Meunier.
The landscaped park: according to a 1795 plan, a food garden and orchards were organized around a double avenue of plane trees, transverse paths and a noria to the west.
In 1796, the Parisian architect Meunier, who designed the neo-classical château, proposed a number of modifications and added a grove of plane trees opposite the new gate, which can still be admired today.
The rows of plane trees form a large central axis and give a spectacular character to the ensemble, which has been transformed into a landscaped park, rich in beautiful tree species and a labyrinth of topiary-trimmed boxwood. A 13th-century keep dominates the park, towering over the agricultural plain.
